BLUEPRINT MASTERCLASS WITH GUILLAUME SCHMIDT, FOUNDER OF PATTA.

On December 16th, we had the honor of hosting an unforgettable masterclass with Guillaume Schmidt, Co-Founder of Patta, the globally acclaimed streetwear brand born in Amsterdam. Known not only for its bold, culture-forward designs but also for its deep community roots, Patta stands as a beacon of purpose-driven creativity—and Guillaume brought that same spirit into the room with him.

From the moment the session began, it was clear this wasn’t just a talk about fashion—it was a conversation about identity, legacy, and intentionality. Guillaume spoke with humility and passion about the importance of knowing where you come from. He emphasized that your roots aren’t just part of your personal story—they’re your creative foundation. Whether expressed through design, storytelling, or strategy, your cultural background holds a power that, when embraced fully, can shape the heart and soul of a brand.

A recurring and powerful theme throughout the masterclass was the strength of partnership. Guillaume reflected on his own journey co-founding Patta alongside Edson Sabajo, highlighting the significance of having someone you trust by your side—someone who shares your vision, complements your skills, and challenges you to grow. He spoke about the importance of building a team that believes in the mission, one that is committed not only to the product but to the impact behind it. His stories were a reminder that success in the creative industry is rarely a solo act—it's a collective effort powered by community, collaboration, and care.

Another highlight of the session was the spotlight on the Patta Academy, an initiative close to Guillaume’s heart. Through this program, Patta provides mentorship, education, and real-world opportunities to young people from underrepresented communities, equipping them with the tools and confidence to navigate the creative industries. Guillaume’s passion for nurturing the next generation was contagious, sparking meaningful dialogue in the room around how we, too, can contribute to building more inclusive and supportive creative ecosystems.

The masterclass ended with a powerful sense of possibility. Guillaume didn’t just offer a story of success—he offered a framework for purpose, showing how values, vision, and community can intersect to create lasting cultural impact. As attendees filtered out of the room, there was a shared energy—a feeling that something important had shifted. Everyone left a little more grounded, a little more inspired, and ready to build not just brands, but movements.
